1003 | Studio By Miraval  Delicate limpid and brilliant dress, of a very pale pink. With its seductive floral aromas, the nose immediately transports us to the Provençal maquis. On the palate, this wine is ample and generous with fruity aromas of citrus, grapefruit and fig, perfectly balanced by a nice mineral structure. The finish is all in length with a hint of bitterness that offers an irresistible iodized and lemony character. A real explosion of flavors all in elegance. L’hiver fût sec et doux, suivi d’un printemps humide et froid avec quelques épisodes de gel, causant quelques dégâts. Malgré cela, la floraison s’est parfaitement déroulée mais avec une quantité limitée (-50% par rapport à la moyenne). L’été chaud et sec a permis de préserver le parfait état sanitaire des vignes, avec un travail régulier du sol pour conserver la fraicheur. Plutôt précoces, les vendanges se sont déroulées dans de très bonnes conditions entre le 9 septembre et le 1er octobre. En cave, l’excellente qualité des raisins a permis de réaliser des vinifications très peu interventionnistes. All the Assyrtiko grapes selected for THALASSITIS originate exclusively from vineyards in the Episkopi, Akrotiri and Pyrgos regions. The vines in these regions are almost 80 years old. The particularly low yield that never exceeds 25 hl/ha combined with the local terrain and variety, result in an exuberant wine with a strong personality.
Enjoy it at 10oC with seafood, fish, shellfish or even lamb stewed in lemon sauce, generally with flavors of moderate intensity, where salt, brine or oil predominate. Don’t forget to pour THALASSITIS into a wide decanter half an hour before serving. You will definitely be pleased by the result!

1008 | Vin De Constance 500ml  Bright light gold in colour. A delicately perfumed yet elevated nose with flavours of white peach, citrus blossom and orange zest. There is an intriguing creaminess on the nose followed by nutmeg and lemon curd. The palate abounds with complex flavours of oak spice, ginger and bright fruit. A delicate balance between sugar and acidity creating a seemingly dryer style of Vin de Constance. The wine concludes with a long and evolving finish with texture and a delicate spice. 2019 saw some relief from the 5 year drought with a cooler, windier and wetter build up to harvest giving us smaller concentrated berries, ideal pH levels, fresh acidity and complex wines. The 2019 Muscat de Frontignan harvest was very short, taking place from late February until late March. In this amount of time we were able to make 26 different passes raging from high acidity to the later portion of very ripe raisins. Each pass was vinified separately initially and then blended together during the latter part of fermentation in order to balance out the sugar, alcohol and acidity.
